The Soundsation wireless microphone range, already well known and appreciated for its practicality and reliability, is now expanding with a new addition.


The real strength of the new PocketMic U16HP lies in its hybrid versatility. Thanks to a single mini receiver, users can simultaneously manage two different microphone sources—a handheld microphone and a headset system—significantly simplifying the work of audio technicians during everyday applications.

Anyone working with wireless systems knows that today's RF spectrum is increasingly crowded due to smartphones and Wi-Fi networks. This is exactly where the Soundsation PocketMic U16HP stands out. It is an ultra-compact dual wireless microphone system that integrates advanced wireless technology into a pocket-sized format. The system shares the same engineering platform but is available in two frequency-band versions to comply with local regulations and ensure maximum signal integrity: the A1 version operates from 521.4 to 549.6 MHz, while the A2 version is optimized for the 606.0 to 613.5 MHz band.

The system is designed to handle two independent audio sources. On one side, it features a classic handheld transmitter equipped with a cardioid dynamic capsule, ideal for isolating the voice from stage noise. On the other, it includes a bodypack transmitter with a 3-pin mini-XLR connector, paired with a high-definition condenser headset microphone that provides presenters and performers with complete freedom of movement.

Under its compact housing, the PocketMic U16HP delivers professional-grade technology. The system offers 2×16 selectable channels, while keeping operation extremely simple. At power-up, a digital scanning algorithm analyzes the RF environment within seconds, automatically identifies the cleanest available frequencies, and synchronizes the transmitters and receiver. Digital DQPSK modulation ensures outstanding transmission stability while dramatically reducing background noise, delivering a dynamic range greater than 90 dB and a wide frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz for warm, natural vocal reproduction up to 50 meters away.

The system's outstanding practicality also extends to power management. While both the handheld transmitter and the bodypack operate on standard AA batteries, the receiver features an integrated rechargeable 3.7 V lithium battery, eliminating the need for bulky external power supplies and allowing direct connection to mixers or active loudspeakers.
