The new series of LED Lightblaster strobes consists of two products, both demonstrating remarkable power qualities whilst ensuring the proverbial reliability and simplicity that distinguishes all SoundSation products.

Lightblaster 616 RGB is a fixture with dual stroboscopic and wash function, combining high brightness and reliability whilst guaranteeing durability and brilliance. This is thanks to the use of 616 0.5W RGB LEDs (in 3in1 matrix), all with low power consumption.

The width of the light beam is 110°, which can be reduced using the adjustable and removable flaps provided. These flaps enable the beam to be restricted right up until the fixture is completely closed.

With the Lightblaster 616 RGB, SoundSation also sought great versatility of use. Achieved with the electronically controlled dimmer and strobe function, these efforts allow for 5 adjustment curves and 5 different stroboscopic effects.

Attention to detail can also be seen across other aspects of the fixture’s construction, such as the ABS frame that adds increased robustness to the product. Internally, a series of sensors keep the temperatures at a comfortable level, adjusting the fan accordingly to avoid overheating, or decreasing the power up to 50% in the most critical of cases.

Lightblaster 1200 CMZ can be considered to be the big brother of the 616 RGB. In addition to its increased power, it stands out for its IP65 rating, which makes it particularly suitable for concerts and outdoor installations.

The 1200 CMZ’s light source is made up of 1200 RGBW 4in1 high-brightness LEDs. To offer a greater variety of effects, the surface of the fixture is subdivided into 5 completely independent zones that can be controlled via DMX. With this control even extending to colour, this offers the most demanding of Lighting Designers a decidedly creative and versatile fixture. Alternatively, a simplified “ready to use” mode has been provided, using a smaller number of DMX channels and utilising all of the strobe power that the 1200 LEDs have to offer!

Here, the fixture’s frame is constructed of watertight die-cast aluminum, whilst sealed connections also guarantee an IP65 degree of protection. A convection cooling system is provided, thanks to specially designed ventilation flows, so as to eliminate the need for fans and to make the fixture absolutely silent. An adjustable bracket that allows for simple and safe fixing to truss is also provided.
